Returns Policy
This Returns Policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (South Africa).
Proof of Purchase
All returns must be accompanied by a valid invoice or proof of purchase.
Handling Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 15% handling fee, calculated on the total value of the goods returned. This fee will be deducted from the refund or credit amount.
Refund Method
- No cash refunds will be issued.
- Approved refunds will be processed via:
- The original payment method, or Store credit (where applicable)
Change-of-Mind Returns (Unbranded Items)
Unbranded garments in original, unused, unwashed, and resaleable condition, with original packaging intact, may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery. Returns may qualify for:
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Refund (no cash refunds)
If payment was made by card, payment gateway or commission fees may be deducted from the refund amount. Return courier costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Branded / Altered Goods
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrect:
- Printed, embroidered, dyed, relabelled, or otherwise branded garments
- Washed or worn items
- Items not in a resaleable condition
- This includes custom-made or special-order products.
Customer Inspection Responsibility
Customers are responsible for inspecting all goods before branding or alteration. Once goods have been printed, embroidered, dyed, or altered in any way, the customer accepts full responsibility for the condition and suitability of the items.
Liability Disclaimer for Branding
China Direct Sourcing and Three Layer is not liable for:
- Printing costs
- Reprinting costs
- Third-party branding errors
We strongly recommend that customers:
- Inspect goods before branding
- Avoid delivering items directly to printers without prior inspection
Samples & Showroom Recommendation
Customers are encouraged to:
- View products at a showroom (where available), or
- Purchase samples before placing bulk or final orders
This helps avoid sizing, colour, or fabric disputes.
Special Orders
No returns will be accepted on special or custom orders, unless the goods are faulty, defective, or not as supplied.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods (CPA Rights)
If goods are faulty, defective, unsafe, or incorrect, customers have the right within 6 months of delivery to request:
- A repair
- A replacement
- A refund
In such cases:
- No handling fee applies
- Return courier costs will be covered by China Direct Sourcing
